About our association

As an accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education in the USA and UK, the Association of Colleges and Business Schools (ACBS) has continually demonstrated that it is a valid and reliable authority on the assessment of education quality.

ACBS’s scope of recognition with the Departments of Education includes the accreditation of postsecondary, non-degree-granting institutions and degree-granting institutions in the United States, UK and internationally, including those granting associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, as well as vocational diplomas, that are predominantly organized to educate students for occupational, trade and technical careers, and including institutions that offer programs via distance education.

ACBS aims to develop and accredit qualifications that meet the ongoing needs of learners and the corporate sector ensuring individuals have access to opportunities for personal and professional development.
